Question:What is the life expectancy of this?
Answer:I don’t think anyone can give a true “life expectancy” on these as each person would use them differently. I have had mine for a few years and make bread about once a week. They clean very well and have held up great.
Question:Is this stiff enough to take in and out of the oven safely? Do the sides hold up, when handling it?
Answer:You’d have to be very careful, they are silicone sides. I put it on a cookie sheet before putting it in the oven. That being said, best thing ever!
Question:Can you place right in the oven or does it have to go on a cookie sheet?
Answer:It is made to go right in the oven. When you have liquid batter, however, you need to be careful that it doesn’t fold in on you! I use a cookie sheet just to be sure.
Question:Is it better to use fondant or candy melts/chocolates for these?
Answer:Candy melts worked great for me. Wish I could share pics there are beautiful
